Please join us for the 10th Annual Lower Sioux Diabetes Awareness Dinner. The evening will include a family style dinner with traditional Dakota foods, guest speaker and door prizes! Our guest speaker this year will include Dr. Donald Warne, Oglala Lakota Physician from Pine Ridge, SD who comes from a long line of traditional healers and medicine men. He received his Medical degree from Stanford University of Medicine and his Master of Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Warne is serving as the Director of Indians into Medicine Program at the University of North Dakota. This event is open to Lower Sioux Community members and families. Doors open and social hour begins at 5:00 p.m., with the family style dinner service being served at 5:30 p.m.
