RE: Positive COVID Test within the Lower Sioux Recreation Center
October 16, 2020
Mitakuyapi,
Based on the Lower Sioux Recreation Center sign-in, we were able to contact the individuals who we believe have been exposed to a lab confirmed positive test for COVID-19 through contact with an individual on October 8th to October 14, 2020 at the Lower Sioux Recreation Center.
We ask that if there are any other individuals who attended the Lower Sioux Recreation Center on the dates of October 8th, 2020 to October 14th, 2020 to do the following:
Please monitor your symptoms (especially in the next 2-14 days) of COVID-19, such as:
– Fever or chills – Cough
– Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing – Fatigue
– Muscle or body aches – Headache
– New loss of taste or smell – Sore throat
– Congestion or runny nose – Nausea or vomiting
– Diarrhea
It is also recommended that these individuals quarantine for 14 days from the exposure date (date attended the Recreation Center).
We also recommend for these individuals to be tested for COVID 4-6 days after exposure. This would be starting on Monday October 19th, 2020. Please call the Lower Sioux Health Care Center at 507-697-8600 and ask for a COVID-19 test.
If you have any questions regarding this, need a 14-day Quarantine package, or any other needs please contact the Emergency Operations Center at 320-522-0216.
Sincerely,
Stacy Hammer
Community Health Officer
