WHO: This event is open to Lower Sioux Community members, families, and employees of LSIC and Jackpot Junction.

Testing is open to all Community members, employees, and their families without symptoms. The collection is done with a swab into the nose. The collection takes about 30 seconds and may be slightly uncomfortable. Once collected, the sample will be prepared to be sent to the Mayo laboratory. Test results will be done in 3-5 business days. If the results are negative, you will not be contacted. If the results are positive, you will receive a call from our Community Health Nurse. She will provide you with education on signs and symptoms to watch for, and identifying all of the people you have been in contact with. All results are protected by patient privacy laws; access to the results will be limited, so please do not call the clinic as the reception staff will not have access to the Mayo lab community testing results.
