We just got finished with another daily meeting with our COVID-19 response team. On behalf of our Council:
With the casino down and no new dollars coming in, we do not know how long these dollars will last to pay the health claims. It varies week by week. That is why we are suspending per cap, but we are offering your GAP/TAP with COVID-19 relief money directly to you in 1 check. The COVID-19 relief money with your GAP/TAP are not reportable income so you may be able to qualify for more state benefits such as medical assistance and energy assistance. We encourage you to apply for these benefits.
